FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
New Patient Basics
What’s the difference between The Whole Performance and a traditional chiropractic clinic?
At The Whole Performance, we go beyond quick adjustments. Our approach combines chiropractic care, movement assessment, and performance-based treatment. Instead of just treating symptoms, we focus on how your entire body moves and functions. This helps us deliver longer-lasting pain relief, better mobility, and improved performance—whether you’re an athlete or simply want to feel better every day.
Why choose The Whole Performance?
We provide personalized, results-driven chiropractic care in a supportive environment. Our focus on movement, recovery, and performance sets us apart from traditional clinics.
What should I expect at my first visit?
Your first visit includes a detailed conversation about your history and goals, followed by a movement and physical assessment. Based on your needs, you’ll receive treatment and/or training, and we’ll create a clear plan to help you reach your goals efficiently and safely.
How do I know what appointment to schedule?
If you’re a new patient, start with a New Patient Evaluation. During your first visit, we’ll help determine the best plan for you.
After that, your appointment depends on your goals. A 15-minute Comprehensive Treatment works well for quick tune-ups. For chronic pain or multiple concerns, we recommend a 45–60 minute session. If you’re interested in full-body support, our Whole Approach program combines treatment, training, and nutrition.
Do I need a referral to see a chiropractor?
No referral is needed. You can schedule directly with our clinic.
Conditions & Treatments
What conditions does The Whole Performance treat?
We help patients with back pain, neck pain, headaches, joint pain, sports injuries, posture issues, muscle tightness, and mobility limitations. Our chiropractic care focuses on long-term pain relief, better movement, and injury prevention.
Can chiropractic care help with posture and desk-related pain?
Yes. We regularly help patients with tech neck, rounded shoulders, and lower back pain caused by sitting. Treatment improves posture, spinal alignment, and flexibility.
Can chiropractic care improve athletic performance?
Absolutely. Chiropractic care helps improve mobility, flexibility, joint function, and muscle balance—key components for strength, speed, and injury prevention.

Do you offer massage or soft tissue therapy?
We provide hands-on soft tissue therapy, myofascial release, and muscle work to reduce tightness, improve circulation, and enhance recovery alongside chiropractic adjustments.
Sports
Do you treat sports injuries and chronic pain?
Yes. We treat sprains, strains, overuse injuries, shoulder pain, hip pain, knee pain, and more. Our approach focuses on healing the injury while preventing it from coming back.
Do I have to be an athlete to come in?
No. You don’t need to be an athlete to benefit from our care. While we specialize in sports performance, we work with anyone who is in pain or wants to move and feel better. Our foundation is functional movement, which is what any athlete needs before they can excel. We assess movement for every patient to better understand your body and provide functional, personalized treatment. Training is optional—your goals come first

Care Plans & Results
Do I need to be in pain to see a chiropractor?
No. Many patients visit for preventative care, performance optimization, posture support, and mobility work, even when they aren’t in pain. Regular chiropractic care can help keep your body moving and functioning at its best.
How often should I see a chiropractor?
Frequency depends on your goals. Some patients come weekly for recovery or injury rehab, while others visit monthly for maintenance and wellness care.
How long does it take to see results?
Many patients notice improvement after their first visit, while others see gradual progress over time. Our hope is to change how you move and feel within 6-12 sessions. Results depend on your condition, lifestyle, and consistency with care.
Do you offer wellness and preventative care?
Yes. Preventative care helps reduce injury risk, manage stress, and support long-term physical health and performance.

Can I get reimbursed through my insurance?

This applies to comprehensive treatments that include chiropractic care. Payments must be made with credit card, HSA/FSA, Zelle, Check, or Venmo to receive a superbill. Cash payments are excluded.
Can I use my HSA or FSA?
Yes. We accept HSA and FSA cards, as well as cash, credit cards, Venmo, and PayPal. Payment is due at the time of service.
